Physical Examination

Students registering for athletics must have a current physical examination on file in the athletic department before the student is authorized to participate in workouts/practice/tryouts. To ensure clearance for participation, physicals should be completed and turned in to the Athletic Director/Athletic Trainer no later than 5 school days prior to the first day of practice/tryouts.  A PAPER COPY of the athlete's physical must be turned in to the Athletic Director in order to complete the registration process.

Physicals must be completed annually and are valid for 14 months from the date signed by the examining physician. Virginia High School League Policy states no student may participate in any conditioning, open gym, practice, or competition without a current physical.
